What were they thinking, Part 1

This was real. I mean, not real as in what they show was real, but as in they actually showed it.

Wait, no...

This was actually a sitcom. It was on the BBC. The plot centers around Adolph Hitler and Eva Braun living in the suburbs in 1990. The first (and only aired) episode revolves around a visit from Neville Chamberlain, which Adolph wants to keep secret from his new neighbors, the Goldsteins.

Hilarity, though, somehow failed to ensue:

WTF, part 2: GunKata

This.... this was actually filmed. Possibly the silliest looking martial art ever put on film. (Well, OK, the Narn fighting from Babylon 5 was close - but they're aliens so it makes sense that their fighting techniques don't make any sense to humans.)

But, anyway, Gunkata. From the intro:

The Gun Kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire.

Witness the statistical probabilities!
