There's a commercial on, for some kind of Valentine's day gift.
(OK, real effective commercial there, I can't remember what the product was 30 seconds later :)

But, the funny part is the song they chose. Over the usual images of the girl unwrapping the present as the guy looks on in trepidation to see how she's going to react, they're playing the song "99 Red Balloons".

Because, you know, nothing says romance like the destruction of civilization by an accidental nuclear war.

Oh, yeah, and...

While taking the bus to the rubble-laden crater that used to be a Target the other day, looking out the window I was struck with the following thought:

Is "Fiddly-diddly's" really the best name those people could think of for their day-care center?

Would you leave your child in their hands?
