Jul. 4th, 2005 02:11 pmTo celebrate, I finished the Geeks Without Borders Q2 Profit & Loss statement (now that I know what the difference between it and a Cash Flow Statement is!) and put together a budget for the rest of the year. Yay, I think we can actually do three international projects, without going into debt. Four, if we get some more donations. (And, since you asked, why, yes! You can donate to GWoB online! So, while working on that, I was also watching Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring on DVD. Figured that's an appropriate movie for today since it starts off with a big fireworks display :)
The F-16 was back again this afternoon, zooming around, doing various maneuvers, including an extreme low-speed fly-by, tilted sharply upward to kill velocity. Cool, kind of a one-jet air show.
The temperature here is dropping rapidly. It's been over a hundred for about the last week. Started cooling down rapidly today - it's dropped from 100 to 80 in the last hour and a half. Getting dark, too, big black clouds rolling up. And lots and lots of wind. The Mississippi river is getting pretty choppy. "There's a storm coming."
