Hooray for Planespotters!
It wasn't human rights activists, or even the kidnap victims themselves who gave the most damaging evidence against the horendous actions of the CIA. It was planespotters, with their logs and photographs of planes that officially didn't exist. More info: How planespotters turned into the scourge of the CIA
