Lizzie

Well that was pretty darn awesome!
I just saw Lizzie at Portland Center Stage. (Thank you again, Bonnie!)
In turns funny and rather disturbing. I didn't really know anything about the Lizzie Borden story before, other than the nursery rhyme. I guess a story about a famous axe murder isn't necessarily going to be all happy and fun.
But there was a lot of that, too. I loved the whole thing. I laughter, I cried, I squirmed. You know how it is. Yeah, I'd recommend seeing it.

Actually, it was her father's.
