The plot thickens!

#NaNoWriMo update:
Still behind. 1,288 words written today.
So my cumulative total is 22,559
Goal for Day 23 is 38,341
So now there are two issues: I'm behind the 50k, which I'm going to be. But I'm also coming up fast on 25k, which was my target length for the first novella, and I'm only just over halfway through the story, I think.
Well, if I continue into December, so be it. Maybe I don't finish the novella until January. Fuck it. Still writing.

Time is relative

#23: The remaining hour of our watch crawled slowly by.

And my #NaNoWriMo update for the day:
Only 929 words written today, for a total of 23,488.
Cumulative goal for day 24 is 40,008. So, still way behind.
But I'm really happy with the scene I just finished, and I know how to get through most of the rest of the story. We'll see if that helps. Of course, Thanksgiving's about to happen, so who knows how that'll affect my writing schedule, if I can get anything written at all on Thursday.
Either way, the story's progressing, and it'll be a fun novella once it's edited down.
