It was a very good day.
For one, I actually managed to get every single task finished on my daily task list. Yay!
My neck still hurts, and my knees are sore. Both, however, are pains that are well earned and worth the pain.
Neck from the conference in Utah, specifically the hotel bed, and long drive.
Knee from conditioning class at the dojo. My right knee is exploding in pain, so of course today our sensei decided knee work was the order of the day. Aikido is much easier standing up. Well, OK, maybe not "easier", but certainly less painful.
I did learn, though, that I do better ukemi if I keep trying to hit Jeff in the face. The problem with this, though, is that Jeff is a really nice guy who I don't really want to hit in the face. I got over it toward the end, though. Mostly.
I'm doing conditioning class again tomorrow.
And now, a few minutes to kill before I sleep. I think I'll play a video game. I haven't done that for a while...
