Daze of the month

I can never remember which months have how many days. There is a poem, but it's not terribly helpful. As far as I can recall, the way my father taught it to me was:

Thirty days hath September,
April, June, and no wonder:
All the rest eat peanut butter
Except Grandma. She drives a buick.
