I'm actually almost an anti-collector, my ideal goal being to eventually own nothing. Not that I want to live in a cave and raise sheep or anything, but with just a bit more technology, and a whole hell of a lot more money, I can foresee a point where I don't actually own anything that's not embedded in my body. Use, yes, even rent, but not own.

I'm somewhat similar, but my issue is that what little I do collect was not asked about. Really, I should get serious points for my slide-rule, pocket protector, badge real, and Tech company yo-yos collections, but nooooo. They don't even ask about things like that. Nor do they ask if you and your friends have ever set-up an ATM mesh, or some other exotic networking design for a Lan party.
