Geeks Without Borders benefit

plutherusIt's almost 3am. I just got home from our first Geeks Without Borders benefit concert. It went very well. We made 20 T-shirts, which all sold, and many people were asking for more, so that's good. Made enough in T-shirt and raffle and Geek Auction and door take to pay for everything with more left over, so it went well. And, of course, lots of people learned about GWoB. We're still slowly building. Next we start to plan who we're giving computers too, plan setup and shipping for the ones we're sending, and planning our November trip to set up the school in Chiapas. Things are picking up.
Had some awesome music, with Brett Estep, The Darsan Trio, The Divided, and Kevin Saturna playing, in that order. Got lots of donations for raffle prizes and gift certificates from local merchants to auction with the Geeks, so that all went well. Overall, I'm quite happy. And also quite exhausted, so I'm gonna go sleep now. Goodnight everybody, and thanks to all reading this who helped out, and to those who showed up. You guys so totally rock!!!
