Aaaaah! He got me!
Sep. 12th, 2003 11:23 amOK, I was gonna avoid all the sappy 9-11 tributes. I didn't watch TV, and didn't load any animations on the internet (except Mark Fiore's, as mentioned below). I didn't want to be bombarded with the inevitable teary-eyed man-on-the-street interviews, the celebrity "where were you when the towers fell" stories, or the damn video montages with sappy music playing over scenes of the burning towers and heroic fire fighters striking heroic poses.
But then, I found this in Wil Wheaton's blog. It really is, I think, a fitting memorial for those killed on two years ago yesterday. They really were victims of a severely fucked up act, a fact which sometimes gets overlooked in all the fighting against the corporate/government exploitation of their deaths.
So, there it is, go see it, and I'm not gonna talk about that no mo'.
(yeah, right)
