One week from today, I'm heading up to Norwescon, along with
reynard52 and
meisha.
We're gonna be making skirts some time in the next couple of days. If you're gonna take part in St. Isidore of Seville's School for Wayward Geeks, get your skirt size to
reynard52 right way. If you wanna volunteer to come down to Eugene, let her know that, too.
She's in charge of all of that sort of thing. I just work here. :)
Remember to tell all your friends in the Seattle Area (or who will be at the con) to bring in their change jars for the Geeks Without Borders "Change for Change" drive, and dump it all into our Giant Bucket (tm).
And, if you were planning on how to dress, here's the weather report, thanks to
mahariel's post in the
norwescon community:
.THURSDAY NIGHT...PARTLY CLOUDY. LOWS IN THE MID 40S. OCCASIONAL DRIZZLE.
FRIDAY...CRIPPLING ICESTORM. HIGHS IN THE MID 20S.
SATURDAY...MOSTLY TYPHOONS WITH A CHANCE OF LOCUSTS. LOWS IN THE UPPER 10S AND HIGHS IN THE LOWER 90S.
