Letter and leaving

Because I don't know how long they keep these archived, I thought 'd keep my own copy here.
Despite them mangling the first paragraph (can you spot the cut?) , I'm still inordinately proud of the fact that the Register-Guard printed my letter.

And now to get ready for the trip. We're heading out in a couple of hours to go visit reynard52's friend from Scotland casfic, who is in Wyoming this week. So I won't be around for the next few days. Seeya!

More on the Bush Action figure

First there's this, a joke about the joke.

There's this serious article which I like just for the phrase, describing that the action figured as dressed as he was "...when he stepped out of a fighter jet in full aviator flight equipment..."
Oh, yeah, and the headlines for the two "related stories" do seem very appropriate, if not necessarily "related".

And I was going to point to Amazon.com's product reviews, but they don't have it listed, though they do have the rest of the Elite Force collection.
