Tonight was one of my favorite Aikido classes yet. Focused on just a few basic moves (I once heard there are really only two moves in Aikido - turning and entering). Worked a lot harder than usual. Almost gasping for breath at the end. Need to work on my breathing. And on my stamina. But, that's what the conditioning class is for. I realized I need to do more exercising on my own, though too.
There were only two people there tonight (Thanks, Takashi and John!) both of them a lot more senior than me. (I was the only one there not in a hakama.)
I did dozens of forward rolls, in rapid succession, as well. I think a few of them were close to decently done. The forward rolls are the the thing I've had the most difficulty with lately, so it was great to practice a whole freakin' lot of 'em.
And now, off to Ghost House. :)
