Bad guy and numbers

OK, so as I'm doing this, I'm writing the first draft into little notebooks that I carry around with me. I've found this works well. I can pull one out at any time, even when on a crowded bus, and can sometimes even write while standing. And I never have to wait for it to boot.
Then, I'm taking the notebooks and putting everything into the computer. That's what I'm actually calling my "first" draft. (The notebook ones being either zeroth draft, or a very detailed outline). A lot of re-writing goes on between the notebook and the computer.
But, I just finished entering the first notebook into draft one. It comes to a total of 25 pages, or 13,031 words, so far. This is the first notebooks. I've got eight more full. If the ratio of words-to-notebooks holds true, that'll mean I've written 117,000 words so far. And I'm probably halfway through the story. So, that's not bad. The average novel is about 70,000 - 150,000. So if I write another 117,000 words, that'll put me around 234,000. Which means on the second draft I'll be able to trim a lot without worrying about making it too short when I'm done.
Or, if I add more than I cut, it might even make a trilogy. Or a... whatever you call a two-book series.
