And, in other news, I just completed another notebook. This makes twelve of various sizes.
I have no idea what my current word count is. Last time I checked it, it was amost 80,000. But I've filled up two notebooks, 5-1/2" x 3-1/2", 200 pages each at that size, that I haven't typed in yet. (I was planning on at least starting that this week, but a bunch of other things kept popping up, so maybe next week...)

So, story has changed course, quite a bit really, since I started it, and my initial sketchy outline is completely gone now. Still have a pretty good idea of where it's going, and now I know how most of the characters will end up. (And what the main motivations are for all the major factions). And the very end is the same, but how we get there has changed significantly since I started. There's a metaphor in there somewhere. And it's going a lot slower than I'd hoped. Hopefully, I'll have the first draft finished early next year, and can start sending out copies to volunteers then...
