I'm not sure if farther or closer would be better...

I am copying some files from different systems onto various servers. Since this is a manual process, I'm verifying that the file in each location is correct.

I do this by reading the checksum - a long string of numbers that uniquely identify the file.

It is bothering me a lot that, for one of the files, the first seven digits of the checksum are 8675308.
