Speaking of Microsoft bashing...
Nov. 27th, 2005 01:31 pmSurprise, surprise. It seems there's problems with the new Microsoft Xbox.
As in, it tends to crash. A lot.
However, there is a solution. Apparently, the crashes are caused by the power supply overheating and shutting down. The fix, of course, involves string.
I'm sure they'll fix this in a later release. Proving, once again, that "At Microsoft, quality is job 1.1"
At least this version hasn't burned anyone's house down yet.

Date: 2005-11-28 07:55 pm (UTC)Is the poster in the UK? The article just mentions he's in "Duluth". The only Duluths I know of are in the US (Minnesota and Georgia), but since half the cities in the US are named after European cities, I wouldn't be too surprised.
Also, it looks like the fix didn't solve the problem after all. He posted a later article (http://www.gamespot.com/pages/profile/index.php?user=Goldeneyemaster) mentioning he has to send the box back now due to continued problems.
