Christmas eve!

I'm in Portland! Yay. Plane trip was uneventful - didn't even get the special security search. I'd seen reports of expanded security coverage for travelers, but didn't see any evidence of it. At 5pm on the 23rd, I walked through security at the St. Louis airport in about 10 minutes. Presents on checked luggage made it through without being opened. (Yeah, I wrapped them first. Oops.)

Also, I will be arriving in Eugene on Amtrak at 5:10pm tomorrow. See you then!

It's odd....my phone works just fine. Hmm. The house phone has been disconnected for a while. You should have tried Matt. At any rate, I'll be there to pick you up no prob! Can NOT wait to see you!!!! My ma made extra extra food to make sure there'd be plenty for you when you got here ^_^
