Back from the vet
Dec. 21st, 2006 12:25 pmAs the holidays approach, Widad of course had to go and injure her eye. I mean, more injured than it already was with the detached cataracted lens and all that.
So, I just got back from the vet. All that money I'd managed to save after buying christmas presents? yep. Gone now.
Ah, well. At least it wasn't as serious as I'd feared. There is a possibility that they may have to remove the eye at some point, but not yet. She's had no sight in it for over a year now and still manages to get around OK, so she'll be alright. She's a survivor, ever since she was found, at around 4 weeks old, alongside the road. Sybl was in the bushes nearby.
That was 13 years ago, and they're still both doing surprisingly well. Well, except for the whole thing about the eye. And occasionally getting bit by giant dogs.
OK, off to work for me, now.

She's doing well, though. And I've got a cat sitter who's going to be putting her eyedrops in while I'm up there. :)
