Let's assume for aminute that the Bush regime is telling the truth about wanting to put a fair and open democracy in place of Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

It's not that funny. Bush could tell the truth about something.

OK, saw we have open and fair democratic elections, overseen by a UN committee rather than Jeb Bush, Kathleen Harris or someone. What would happen if Saddam Hussein was nominated? Would he be allowed to run?

Even more: What would happen if he won?

No. We put a clause in our occupied countries allowing us to remove elected officials at our whim. Bosnia Herzegovonia's Serbian sector kept (keeps?) voting in conservative party leaders, & we kept removing them. The main contention is that they wanted to remove the scophants wee had who kept decrying serb brutality whenever we needed to justify our activity.
