I mean, c'mon, seriously?
I realize you wanted a woman if Hillary lost the democratic nomination so you could try to peal a few votes away through identity politics, but... seriously?
Out of the entire United States, roughly half the registered voters are republican. I have no idea how many that is, but I would guess it's at least a few dozen million Republican women.
And Palin is the absolute best you could come up with?

You can shirk it by simply throwing your mind open and letting the ready-made phrases come crowding in. They will construct your sentences for you — even think your thoughts for you, to a certain extent — and at need they will perform the important service of partially concealing your meaning even from yourself. It is at this point that the special connection between politics and the debasement of language becomes clear.
But back to Palin. Her inability to communicate effectively (because she has nothing to say) means the spoofs aren't that far reaching.click this (http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/clips/couric-palin-open/704042/) and see if you even tell the difference between Palin and Fey. And her nothing to say speaks volumes about McCain's abilities to make decisions. He can't. But you know, people won't vote for Obama because of one or two differences of opinions and effectively help McCain take the White House. I've heard the arguments; They're weak at best.
