Cleverbot.
Sep. 11th, 2011 11:00 pmSo, I was playing with Cleverbot this evening, and had the following bit of conversation with it:
Yes, that's right. I was just told I was taking things too literally. By a machine. My feelings are hurt.
Also, if you're not familiar with Cleverbot, and don't get the unicorn reference, check out the conversation it recently had with another instance of itself:
Also, you can talk to Cleverbot at its website.
Cleverbot: You spelled 'htey' wrong.
User: I didn't spell 'htey' at all. Are you getting the people you're talking to mixed up?
Cleverbot: Nope.. It was you at the party.
User: I'm pretty sure I haven't been at any parties with you.
Cleverbot: But I want to be your friend, why don't you like me?
User: I didn't say I don't like you, just that I've never met you before today.
Cleverbot: Why do you not love me?
User: You're a robot. I'm a unicorn. It would never work.
Cleverbot: But it works in Twilight.
User: I haven't read Twilight, but I'm pretty sure there aren't any robots in it.
Cleverbot: Don't be so literal.
