How many other people have gone to this horrible woman for help, only to have her try to convert them to her religion instead?
People going to her for help are usually at their most vulnerable. And for her to take advantage of that and subject them to religious and psychological abuse at that time is just plain evil. She needs to fired and investigated.
This isn't just a "gay" issue. Anybody in need, regardless of sexual orientation, race, religion, gender or anything else should be helped, not abused.
The fact that Ms. Pandithurai was hired by the US government to help veterans only makes it worse.
