plutherusOK, that was weird. This morning, I dreamt I was directing a Star Trek parody musical with tunes from Guys and Dolls.
William Shatner and James Doohan were the only two original cast members to reprise their roles.
I can only remember a few fragments, like Shatner not liking the line "Even though I've got to say he's kind of a jerk" in the "Good 'ol reliable Ja-ames, James Tiberius Kirk!" song.
And Doohan's reaction when he noticed one of the songs in the last act was titled "Scotty Wears a Red Shirt."
And a song in the engine room that went something like:
My skills have been well noted
And I might get promoted
Assuming before this fight is through, my engines don't blow up
The anti-matter's mixin',
But the crystals need some fixin'
And then I can't remember the last line.
Ah, well.
I kinda wanna do this now. Ah, well, maybe after I finish the other five projects I want to get done first :)
