So... Dark Matter. I hadn't heard of it before, but it showed up as recommended in Netflix.
I looked it up on imdb, and the first review said it was a lot like Firefly. It isn't, not really. I mean, it's a bunch of criminals on a space ship, but that alone doesn't distinguish it from Firefly, Blake's 7, Farscape, Cowboy Bebop, or a bunch of other shows.
The characters are a little Firefly-esque: They've combined Kaylee and River into one girl. Zoe is the captain. Simon seems to be a conman. Jayne is... well, he's still Jayne, pretty much to a T. Book is an expert swordsman, and Wash isn't funny.
And there's an android. Which, thankfully, has no longing to be human.

But the show so far is... interesting. They've set up some stuff that I'm assuming will pay off eventually. They seemed to answer one question in a way that looked like it was trying to be subtle but was really blatant and obvious. And then they immediately hit you over the head with the fact that that wasn't the answer. So, that's cool.

Still watching. Anyone else see this show? No spoilers, please, I'm only up to the third episode.
