For everyone giving feedback so far, thank you very much! Seriously, all of it, from the minutia of my spelling and grammar, to thoughts about individual characters or plot points to "When's the next chapter coming out?" It's all been super helpful and has kept me going. So, thank you.
The entire novel so far is at 202,000 words. It seems to be expanding as I edit. I honestly thought it would be shrinking as I cut stuff out, but I seem to be adding more than I'm removing. I guess I'll see when I'm done how big it really is. Still might end up being a trilogy. There are two natural breakpoints, and just a little bit (read: months) of rejiggering will get them of roughly equal size between them.
