I just wish I'd had enough money back in 2000 to follow my own investment advice: "If Gore wins the election, invest in research and technology. If Bush wins, dump your tech stocks fast and get into defense contractors."

Although, on the web site that was betting on which nation Bush would attack first, Iraq (which was my bet) was running at #1. I don't remember seeing Afghanistan on the list at all...
