So I was gonna write a long thing about this for my blog.
I am livid about this whole thing.
The police are out of control, and they need to be brought back into control.
In searching for the original story, or the full video here, I went to this guy's twitter feed. It's at https://twitter.com/greg_doucette
He's been cataloging videos of the cop riots. They are assaulting people. They are murdering people. They are causing property damage. They are arresting people who film them. They are beating anybody they can find any excuse to beat, and often even when they can't find an excuse.
Anyway, I was going to write about this particular instance, but then when I went to this guy's feed where he's cataloging a bunch of these (a tiny percentage of all instances, I'm sure, considering that they're trying to their best to do their worst violence out of view of the cameras), and wading through them, I was just getting too angry, too absolutely livid to do anything but rant incoherently. Which is what I use facebook for, not my blog.
These cops are scum.
The cops who support them are scum.
The people who support the cops who support them are scum.
I couldn't find the original video.
There were too many to wade through.
I'm not looking at any more police brutality tonight. The guys who rushed the cops, in order to interrupt their game with stealing this guy's legs, are heroes. Considering how many people the police have killed in the last three weeks with less provocation, these guys are fucking heroes.
And every one of the cops who stole this guy's prosthetic legs and maced him and then stood there laughing as they maced the nearby protesters as well and laughed at the man trying to crawl out of the cloud of tear gas is a bastard and anyone who is supporting the police at this point is wrong and bad and a goddamn fascist.
Maybe tomorrow I'll be calm enough for an actual blog entry about this particular incident. Tonight, all you're getting is this incoherent rant.
