plutherusPage: Final question (Finally!). From a student: “When I watch the news, all I see is arguing. If our leaders can’t get along, how are our citizens supposed to get along. Your examples could bring us together. What will you do?”
Pence: Good question. I started following the news when I was very young. (Seriously? That’s how you want to start?) We believe in free and open debate. Don’t assume what you see is the American People. RGB and Scalia were polar opposites, but we have learned they were actually friends. We come together as Americans. Says THE AMERICAN PEOPLE again. “We love a good argument, but always come together.”
Harris: I love hearing from our young leaders. Your perspective is a sign of leadership. Joe decided to run after Charlottesville – he saw hate, division, and wanted to heal that. It’s been getting worse for four years. Biden has a history of working across the aisle. The future is bright because of leadership of people like you That’s why we want EVERYBODY to vote.
