So I was listening to the radio this morning while some guy was gloating about the recent republican sweep of Congress. His claim was that the fact that Bush was able to spend 200 million dollars of our money raising 100 million dollars for his people (well, OK, so that's not quite how he phrased it :-), and get all his own people elected to Congress proves that we, the American public have been underestimating Bush. And, of course, therefore so has the rest of the world. I don't think I underestimated Bush. I overestimated the American voters.
I hope I didn't overestimate the rest of the world.
