Probably not too surprising. The problem I had was that some of the questions were pretty broad. There was nothing about a candidates experience, for instance. One of the things I like about Dean (who is the highest named candidate on the list) is that he is running an entirely different type of campaign - broad-based support with millions of people giving him a little bit of money each rather than relying on relatively few wealthy donors. And that he is doing remarkably well despite being opposed all the way by all the fogies in his own party. Intangible's like that aren't measured in the results.
Also, while I do have strong opinions on gun control, I agree with neither the platforms of the NRA or the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, so I had to choose "No preference/None of the above/Prefer alternate solutions". Even so, it worked out well, with Dean at the top (after unnamed Green Party and Socialist candidates), and Bush almost dead last.

From the SelectSmart Presidential candidate selector:

1. Your ideal theoretical candidate. (100%)
2. Green Party Candidate (86%)
3. Socialist Candidate (76%)
4. Dean, Gov. Howard, VT - Democrat (75%)
5. Sharpton, Reverend Al - Democrat (74%)
6. Clark, Retired General Wesley K., AR - Democrat (73%)
7. Kucinich, Rep. Dennis, OH - Democrat (70%)
8. Moseley-Braun, Former Senator Carol, IL - Democrat (66%)
9. Edwards, Senator John, NC - Democrat (63%)
10. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (57%)
11. Gephardt, Rep. Dick, MO - Democrat (56%)
12. Libertarian Candidate (41%)
13. LaRouche, Lyndon H. Jr. - Democrat (39%)
14. Lieberman, Senator Joe, CT - Democrat (37%)
15. Bush, President George W. - Republican (17%)
16. Phillips, Howard - Constitution (8%)
