Whine whine whine

I'm sick. Sick sick sick.

Doing the double-ended volcano thing about every hour or two since about 10 last night.

I least I haven't thrown up yet for over an hour. Which is good, because I ate half a can of soup almost an hour ago - the first thing I've kept down for more than a few minutes.

And every muscle I have aches. My stomach hurts, my chest and legs and arms and jaw all ache. I even have a damn headache.

I know, whine whine whine. At least my cats are sympathetic. One must have cats in times like this, to walk up to you while you're laying on the floor moaning and gently touch your face with their paw before curling up beside you. Now if I could just convince Widad not to express her concern by poking me in the armpit with her claw, I'd be a little happier...

Muscles? Why do my muscles ache? That's how violent the vomiting has been. You know, how on Sci-Fi TV shows the bad guy always tortures the good guy by hooking him up to some machine and pushes a button which makes every muscle on the good guy clench at once as he writhes and screams in pain? Yeah, it's like that, but with puking.

OK, that's enough sitting up time. Time to lay down again.

I don't think I'll make it into work again tomorrow...

You have my extreme sympathy. I had a milder version of it about three weeks ago; the good news is that it only lasts a couple or three days.

Glad to hear you have cats; they are quite useful in crises of this nature.

When you're up and about, perhaps we can show you more of St Louis... :)

And, yeah, I'm feeling much better now. Lots of fluids, lots of sleep, that's what I needed...
Either that, or just time enough for it to run it's course...
