Sep. 19th, 2006 07:42 pmSo, I went to a comic book store for the first time in a couple of years.
Just one question: what the frack is this "Civil War!" stuff all over all the Marvel titles? Guess I'll find out - I picked up both Spiderman and Fantastic Four...
In other news, I saw The Illusionist this weekend. Excellent movie - highly recommend it, except I kept thinking that it really, really should have had Mordecai Cain as the star. No offense to Edward Norton or anything, but he just reminded me so much of him. In fact, towards the end, when he was raising the ghosts, the look and gesture he used, almost as if he was daring the ghosts to come forth rather than summoning them, was so
docscarabus-like, I wonder if he had caught a show before creating the character...
Oh, yeah, and "Arrrr!"
