I tend not to celebrate the 4th. I just work that day. First, because idiots + booze + explosives = disaster waiting to happen. Second, is that there is something that squicks me out - we're supposed to be celebrating our independence, but we're doing it with flags and firecrackers made in Chinese sweatshops, and this country is so badly in hock to China that we'd be totally screwed if they asked us to pay up.
