42,839 words typed in. That's not how much is written yet, but how much is actually typed in from the notebooks I've been writing in. I just finished book 6 of 9. So, if the average holds, I've actually written about 64,258 words. More or less. Quite likely more, as the next two notebooks are bigger than the previous ones.

Still not enough to be a novel, but quite a bit.

That's good, too, because I have a lot of story left. I'm probably gonna need another 64,000 words to tell it in. At least. Looking over it, I'm seeing more places that need to be expanded than cut. The cuts I'd suggest to myself if I was editing this, which I am, are mostly a few words out of a paragraph. Eliminating occasional sentences, and so forth, but not deleting entire sections.

At least, not yet.

At any rate, progress is still being made. I am happy. And tired. I am tired and happy and intend to sleep now. Goodnight, everybody.
