I smell smoke
Apr. 25th, 2003 08:13 pmI also have a cold, which makes it hard to smell anything. So, of course, I assume that since I can smell it, it must be very strong. So I spend a few minutes running around the apartment, then out into the hall, to try to figure out what's on fire. Can't smell anything in the hall. Or in the kitchen. Stick my head out the window. It's stronger outside.
So, secure in the knowledge that whatever's on fire isn't my apartment, I return to writing invitation to all the people who signed up to be on our email list last weekend, and working on the he budget for Sunday night's board meeting. Oh, yeah, I think I'm supposed to send out an itinerary for that too. Crap.
