And Chapter 8 is now complete.
Chapter 8 is 9.412 words - the longest chapter yet.
Which makes 60,330 words re-written so far for the third draft.
And 215,337 words for the total document, the equivalent of a 687 page novel. Hopefully, that'll come down soon in future editing, though it seems be getting longer. I dunno, maybe I can expand the last bit and have a trilogy. Because all the gods know I haven't spent enough time on this as it is...
