plutherusSick sick sick. How I hate being sick.
I was sick yesterday, and I'm sick today. Sore back, headache, stuffed up head, sore throat and wracking cough. Lovely, huh? I'm hating life right now. I can breathe a little better today than I could yesterday, but the cough is worse and I have a sore throat now. So I don't know if I'm getting better or worse.
Called my boss to tell her I won't be in. I hate using sick days for being sick.
Dragged myself to the polls yesterday, voted Green and Libertarian, which some people think is a contradiction, but both of those parties support ideas I support, unlike the Republicans or Democrats. Sick of trying to decide which white old-money millionaire to send to congress. From early results on TV last night, looks like republicans are regaining control of the senate. I don't care. The democrats are being a bunch of spineless wimps who do everything bush's people tell them to anyway, so what difference does it make?
Looks like the San Francisco plan for the city to grow and distribute marijuana to medical patients who need it went through, that's a good thing. Should be interesting as Ashcroft sends in his jack-booted thugs to arrest the SF city council. How many more people will The Leader condemn to death in order to "send an appropriate message to the children"?
Fuck. I feel bad enough with my flu. But I'll be better soon. Anyone tells me I have to be like this for the rest of my life because it would be politically inconvenient for them if I recovered, and I think I'd take a page out of Oswald's book...
