Fortunately, I missed Batman and Robin, but after seeing previews for I, Robot and Hellblazer (er, I mean "Constantine") I know exactly how she feels!

It AIN'T Hellblazer. Ain't ain't ain't ain't. The REAL Constantine would gouge out Neo's eyeballs and have demons piss in their sockets. What? Hollywood could get an Englishman to play Batman, but not find one to play Constantine?????????? ARRGGHH.

ugh

I still think that they ought to have gone with the person that the character was modelled on originally. I don't think he's too old. I think Sting would do just fine.

Hellblazer

I've never actually read the comic, so the movie doesn't look that wretched to me. I'm sure after I see it, then go back to read the comic, I'll be a bit upset. Kind of like how I was with L.E.G.

I actually do think Sting is too old. Not to mention too lame and stupid. (The comic came out when he was still cool.) I do think that they passed up and excellent and obvious choice:

JAMES MARSTERS ("Spike" on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.)

He's already proved that he can play a blonde chainsmoking brit in a trenchcoat, plus he has a fan base already. (And he's one sexy mofo.)
