I've never actually read the comic, so the movie doesn't look that wretched to me. I'm sure after I see it, then go back to read the comic, I'll be a bit upset. Kind of like how I was with L.E.G.
I actually do think Sting is too old. Not to mention too lame and stupid. (The comic came out when he was still cool.) I do think that they passed up and excellent and obvious choice:
JAMES MARSTERS ("Spike" on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.)
He's already proved that he can play a blonde chainsmoking brit in a trenchcoat, plus he has a fan base already. (And he's one sexy mofo.)
