Co-worker: So if you don't support the war, what do you think we should do when a madman gets hold of nuclear weapons?
Me: Impeach him.

We're in desperate need of some. If you have any lying around, please ship them to Iraq right away, so we can stick them in a warehouse to be found by the Marines.

Excuse me, that should read "...by those heroic FREEDOM-loving American Marines, Liberators of Oppressed Peoples"

And now those damn Anit-Armiercan communists/terrorist-lovers at the U.N think that they should have the right to verify any WMD finds. AND they even have the gall to think that the U.N. should have a role in the reconstruction of Iraq. No way. If they wanted in, they should have given millions of dollars to the Bush regime the way all the companies who are being given contracts did.

So, I finally got through to the Secretary of State, corporate division, who's number has been busy for like two days, and convinced them to fax me a confirmation copy of our Articles of Incorporation. The IRS needs the proof that they have been filed to evaluate our 501(c)3 application. This is the very last thing of all the new stuff they have asked for after our original application, which was almost five months ago now.

Now, they have already received confirmation copy of the amended articles of incorporation, our copy of the original articles of incorporation, and the letter we got from the state confirming that they have received and filed our original articles of incorporation. But that, apparently, isn't enough to prove to the IRS that we did, indeed, file articles of incorporation.

But, if all goes well, we may actually have 501(c)3 approval before Norwescon. Of course, now that they have all the information they wanted, they could still reject the application for any number of reasons, none of which they publicize.

Some of the most two-sided balanced coverage of the war that I've seen so far is in tonight's episode of South Park. Which turns out to be the 100th episode, by the way )
